Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using agentfenster (the “Software”), the website, and associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you may not use the Software or services.

2. Licence and Subscription

The agentfenster software is commercial, closed-source software. It is licensed, not sold, and no open-source licence is granted. Subject to these Terms, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use agentfenster on the machines covered by your active plan or trial, for your own purposes, including commercial ones. You may not redistribute, publish, resell, sublicense or modify the Software, and you may not reverse-engineer it except where mandatory law allows. The full licence text ships with the Software as its LICENSE file.

agentfenster runs on your own Windows machine; it is not a hosted service. The subscription comes in two plans: Cockpit (one agent desktop) and Fleet (up to six parallel agent desktops, 2FA mailbox, priority support).

agentfenster ships components written by third parties. Those components stay under their own licences, in full, and nothing in these Terms narrows the rights those licences give you in them. Their required notices are included with the Software and must not be removed from a copy.

New subscriptions start with a 3-day trial; no payment details are required for the trial. You can cancel anytime; the subscription then ends at the close of the paid period already covered.

The Software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, except where such a disclaimer is not permitted by mandatory consumer law. The operator disclaims all liability for any damages, loss of data, or interruption of service arising from your use of the Software, to the extent permitted by law.

3. Subscriptions, Payment and Refunds

Payment is processed through a third-party payment processor. Your transaction is governed by that processor’s terms and privacy policy in addition to these Terms. We do not directly handle your payment information. Subscriptions are billed monthly, renew automatically at the end of each billing period, and can be cancelled anytime with effect from the end of the current period. Your access details are confirmed by email after checkout.

For purchases by consumers in the EU:

  • You have the right to cancel and request a refund within 14 days of purchase, in accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.
  • To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] with your order details and reason for cancellation.
  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Digital goods may be subject to platform-specific refund policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Software for illegal activities or to harm others
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or bypass technical safeguards, except where permitted by law
  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense or publish the Software, or share your licence with others
  • Use the Software in violation of applicable laws or regulations
  • Engage in harassment, malware distribution, or unauthorized access to systems

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or use, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Software following changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Software is provided on an “as-is” basis, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. We make no representations or warranties, express or implied. The operator is not responsible for any issues, bugs, or compatibility problems with your system or use of the Software.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Austrian courts.
